Start: Minos – setting up ON4KST client.

This is a simple guide on how to set up the ON4KST client app within Minos Contest Logger. To use the KST client app you will need login credentials. These are obtained via the ON4KST site here:

- Start up Minos and on the opening splash screen click on the Apps button:
- On the App Configuration window click the New Entry button:
- Use the pulldown to select KSTClient and tick next to Enabled:
- Click the Save and Close button:
- You will return to the startup splash screen where you can click the OK button to start Minos running:
- The KST client will appear and will present you with the configuration window where you will need to fill in your ON4KST login details:
- Enter in your login details and password supplied from ON4KST. You can enter your locator and first name here is desired OR leave them blank and they will retain any previous settings you made logging in via the website or other KST applications.
I recommend ticking Automatically connect on load.
Notify logger on Meep and Play sound on Meep you can set to your personal preference. A meep WAV file is supplied in the installation and was immediately available to select using the three dots button, however the currently supplied meep WAV file I found not that great. Click the OK button to save these settings.
- The KST client is now ready to use and will also load again next time you start Minos.
Here you can choose the chat room you require, set the maximum distance from the default 99999kms (assuming not running good 6m SP E) and set the Airscout band to use and if you want the KST client to read Airscout data from Airscout application.
